Payment:

If you wish to pay in full, we require full payment of the quoted amount on the date of service or device fitting.

Payment plans can be arranged through ZipMoney in-clinic.  ZipMoney terms and conditions will be provided at the time of sale.

Trial Period:

For all hearing device purchases, we provide a 30-day trial with a money back guarantee (fitting fee is not refundable) if not fully satisfied.  If the hearing devices are lost or damaged within the trial period, a refund will not be supplied.

Warranty:

Your hearing devices come with a 3 year manufacturer warranty.  Accessories carry a 1 year warranty.  This warranty covers manufacturing and material defects.  It does not cover damage caused by improper handling, wax or moisture damage.  Repairs made by unauthorised parties are not covered and will void the warranty.  Most manufacturers offer extended warranty which can be obtained at the time of purchase.  Please ask us if you would like more information on extended warranty.

Out-of-Warranty Repairs:

Once the warranty period on your hearing device has expired and/or a repair not covered under warranty is required, you will be charged the full repair amount as indicated by the manufacturer.  We strongly suggest that you obtain a quote before proceeding with out-of-warranty repairs.  In addition, a fee of $50.00 will be charged for each repair occasion to cover courier and administration costs.

Over-the-Counter Repairs:

Over-the-counter repairs are provided free of charge, excluding any parts involved in the repairs.  You will be advised of any costs for parts before the repair is carried out.

Battery Supply:

Batteries currently cost $5.00 per card of 6 batteries.  A box of 10 cards can be purchased at the discounted rate of $40.00.

Continued Support:

Follow-up, adjustment and annual review consultations are charged at between $25.00 and $100.00 (varies on level of service required).

Moulds (where applicable):

If you obtain custom moulded ear pieces, they will need to be replaced from time to time.  Everybody is different, some people use the same moulds for many years while others require replacing every twelve months.  Currently the cost of replacement moulds sits at $100.00 for one mould; $150.00 for two.  This price is inclusive of all administration and clinical costs/time involved.

Accessories:

There are many accessories available that work in conjunction with your hearing devices.  Some can vastly improve listening comfort in certain situations, while others make operating your hearing instruments easier.  Accessories may be purchased as an add-on at any time.  Please ask us if you are interested in learning more.

Insurance:

We recommend that you insure your hearing devices through your home and contents insurance policy.  Your hearing devices are valuable and if lost or damaged beyond repair, you will find it is definitely worth the additional minor cost to your insurance.
